Our Curriculum

At the WEE Center, we work to encourage the healthy growth of the whole child through play-based learning. By approaching learning with the Developmentally Appropriate Practices framework we are able to meet each child where they are and with what they are ready for. Our specials classes such as Art, Music, Science, Library (pre-K), and Movement (Lacrosse in the spring and fall) allow all of our children to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically in ways that meet each child's individual needs. At The WEE Center, we follow the Creative Curriculum and for teaching handwriting we adhere to the Handwriting Without Tears philosophy. The WEE Center is licensed by the Maryland State Office of Childcare Administration (CCA), accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), and recognized by Maryland Excels at the highest level (Level 5) for its quality child care and early childhood education programming.
